CO-PARENTING THERAPY IN CALIFORNIA

Your life is changing in significant ways. Separation or divorce can feel confusing, emotionally exhausting, and deeply painful. Alongside your own grief and adjustment, you may find yourself navigating an ongoing, conflicting relationship with your now ex. Even when both of you want what is best for your children, it might be difficult to collaborate, find compromises, or even communicate effectively with each other. Disagreements may arise around your child's schedules, extracurricular activities, screen time, friendships, or daily routines. You may notice the emotional toll these conflicts take on your children, which can add another layer of worry and distress. This is an incredibly difficult season for everyone involved.
At the same time, you know that you want to learn how to co-parent peacefully and effectively despite personal differences. You may want to manage your emotional responses, reduce conflict, and provide your children with a sense of stability and emotional safety. If both of you are willing to engage in respectful dialogue and work toward change, co-parenting counseling could be a good path toward improved dynamics.
Co-parenting therapy offers a structured, supportive space to reduce conflict, improve communication, and refocus on your children’s needs. If you would like my assistance navigating co-parenting challenges and building a healthier, more collaborative parenting relationship, I would be honored to support you.
